WELCOME

Since I stopped making pots in 2016, I've settled on Earth Citizen as my title, with the addition of gig-oriented free agent for assorted ways I work in the world.  This website includes ceramics galleries, articles and videos. The store has some items even though most have sold.                                                                      —Joan Lederman, June, 2022.

As a potter with an indigenous soul in a technological age, I straddle worlds and consult natural systems so that I can continue the work of nature in day to day life.

Body's aging caused me to step back from some heavy work but I am not retired and I like to contribute as a change-maker especially because having shaped clay, I'm comfortable imagining what's possible.  I easily get down into the hows of implementing change with others in groups of differently skilled individuals.

Be in touch if you're inclined.
