WELCOME

I stopped making pots in 2016, after 23 years of using ocean sediments as glazes -- this web presence is for people who want to explore that history.  I no longer call myself a potter but I do think and feel like one because years of shaping clay shaped me.

I'm understated about the entrepreneurial and educational ventures I know are possible if teams work together in this way, with nature as a whole-systems, celebratory, project-based mode of learning.

Thanks to all who brought mud, bought work, wrote articles, helped heal my body -- well, for everything.
