TESTS & SNAFUS

When I got samples, I didn't know what they'd do so I tested them on whatever was handy, often flawed pieces.  The outcomes were important guides to keep close so I might minimize the gambles of 'flying blind'.  Sometimes I used broken shards that I could tuck into the tightly-packed kiln.
