My experience is of gleeful contrasts that we get this window into the forces of earth's molten material being metamorphosed into such contrasting forms. Mid-Atlantic Ridge rock is the basalty form and Havre volcanic pumice-mud is the silica-rich form. The rock slurry from Kane Fracture Zone is on the chattered pattern interior and back. Warm speckled areas are Havre mud. Center of seaglass.
